Account for 2-3” of stretch...my head is 21.5” and I wear the 18” “Sm. Adult” but love a slightly “tighter” fit, keeping it snug in place on my head. Take a fabric tape measure or a piece of string and measure around the head including the ears where you wish to wear the beanie.
